This song is a very emotional and painful song for the lovely Christina Aguilera to sing. She co-wrote this song with Linda Perry. She never sang this song live until VH1 Storytellers.You can clearly see why she never sings it as often.You can feel the pain and emotion in the song when she sings it.It shows that it must bring back her memories from childhood that were very painful to her. ReplyDeleteher emotion in this song,and how she's not afraid to broadcast all she went through to the whole world. i can't believe a father did that but you see the sadness in her and I remember watching her mother on E special talk about she cried when so it's very sad for Christina and her mother. Such figthers they are to move forward even though the pain never goes away from what happened like in the past.
